Join Aaron Pergram and organist Jeffrey Parola on a musical exploration of what we, as humans, hold sacred. Some works touch on the memory of the dead, others on the vernal equinox. Featured music includes the oldest surviving complete musical composition, Islamic prayer song, Byzantine Greek hymns, scenes from Jewish life, and more. This sacred and secular journey of spiritual connection and healing through music will provide a time for reflection and healing. Composers include Seikilos, Kassia, Grandi, Bloch, King, Price, Vivaldi, Hines, Pérotin, and Hildegard von Bingen.
