El Simposio Internacional de Dúos 2026: A platform for exploring the duo format in chamber music, this gathering unites diverse portable duos to share their instrumentation, interpretations, and repertoire. It fosters exchange and reflection and celebrates the sonic diversity that arises from the dialogue between two instruments.
This will be the debut event for Silkwind Mundi, performing the premiere of Jarran Ahaz Armstrong’s Three Pieces for Bassoon and Sheng (2025). Silkwind Mundi commissioned Armstrong to write this work for the symposium.
