Fall 2021 is packed with Miami University Bassoon Studio events. The studio will host Miami University Bassoon Day in November; this is a free event open to all with in-person and virtual attendance options. Dr. Brisa de Paula of Western Illinois University is our featured guest this year. Also, the MUBS annual Halloween event is back! This year the theme is “Legends of Anime,” featuring the music of Studio Ghibli films by composer Joe Hisaishi. Lastly, we are excited to announce that Christopher Sales, Principal Bassoon of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra will offer a master class on campus in Oxford this November.
